PARIS - Action crimes involving smartphones increasingly common at Paris, France. The police call this phenomenon as a result of the 'iPhone effect'. Based on data from the Paris police force since November 2010, from the 1071 theft that occurred on public transportation, 53 percent of them involving the smartphone. Paris transport operator (RATP), both in the subway, buses and trams, now began to distribute flyers in four languages to warn residents and, especially, tourists, to keep their phones fine.
